Apple Music beta for Web

In a very quiet manner, Apple launched Apple Music for Web service a few weeks ago.

Believe it or not, this is by far the best way for accessing my Apple Music collection on a Linux laptop!

The Apple Music beta page is a simple enough interface for playback, browsing through Apple Music catalogue and also for accessing and managing your own music collection. Basically, anything in your Music library synced with iCloud will show up here. It seems you can even manage (create and delete) playlists from the web interface - I expect this means they’ll be synced back to all the participating devices.

Overall, I’m super happy. As someone noted, this looks and works better than some native apps in iOS, probably because it’s been build from scratch and doesn’t have to maintain backward compatibility with previous ways of doing things in iOS.
